river voices

River Voices was commissioned by Nuit Blanche Saskatoon in 2025, and I made it with the choreographer Ana Solano. I composed the music using only sounds of the Saskatchewan River, and Ana choreographed a contemporary dance piece to it, which was performed at night on the Traffic Bridge over the river.

Ana and I first worked together on Voices, also for Nuit Blanche. Below is a short film of the piece.
